Kidlington Grain Silo, Oxfordshire :: October 2010

Coming back from the 28 Days Later 5th Birthday celebrations in Birmingham we noticed this huge building along the side of the A34.

Pulling up outside the building, which has been used as a dumping ground, we got suited & booted and headed on in.

Most of the metal fixings and fixtures have been stripped by thieves. However there’s still a lot of nice workings on the upper levels. Floors are very scary in places and if you’re visiting, be really careful!

The views from the top of the building are pretty special but almost impossible to capture the scale of everything in a photo.

Once out, we had a little look around the outbuildings surrounding the area and found some interesting bits which were still kicking around from the war.

I publish my photos in good faith without a watermark. All photos on this website are my property and shouldn't be used elsewhere without my prior permission.
