Final year students studying Web Development
Final year students should be good. In fact, they should be primed and raring to be unleashed in the working world. Setting new boundaries with their fresh, original ideas.
Apparently not, if the latest offering from Manchester Metropolitan University is anything to go by…
To be fair, it’s obviously not their fault and I find it hard to believe that they’ve actually been taught this. At least they’re not all built with tables…
It’s scary though. Design agencies in North West England be aware, come May/June you’ll be having these bright sparks spamming you for a job.
In December 2003 I quit my University course at Buckinghamshire Chilterns before it was too late and I poured even more money down the drain when I realised the standard of material I was being taught was outdated and stale. I fear these guys and gals have bought a dead horse in return for their tuition fees.
I don’t think students should be rioting against the tuition fees increasing. I think they should be campaigning for a better quality of lecturer and syllabus worthy of the fees!
